Named 'The Emmett L. Wester Collection' for no other reason than that he amassed them during the war, and preserved them over the indifferent intervening years, the book's heart is a mixture of images from Emmett Wester's own scrapbook, including as it does a goodly number of the G Co Collection.

It is not a biography about Emmett Wester personally, though it inevitably became about what he and his comrades saw, the faces he and his buddies knew, and the places he and his brothers served in.

Being of the "G" Co. Collection, a number of images are of common origin with those of the Chet Nycum/Mike Levack collection highlighted in MOMENTS IN PASSING, to which this is the companion volume.

The book is professionally printed by a "print on demand" company and its selling price reflects printing and production costs and our 'not for profit' status.
