The Quezon Bridge was built in the 1930's and replaced the aging Puente Colgante ("Hanging Bridge") foot bridge. Designed in the prevailing Art Deco style, the bridge echoed the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The building on the left is the Metropolitan Theater.
