General MacArthur arrives for work at his office at the City Hall. He worked 7 days a week. What there is of the traffic has been cleared to expedite his arrival.  Bystanders have been kept at a respectful distance by the MP's. MacArthur can be seen in the far left doorway. He arrived in Manila on 7 February and apart from  a visit to Mindoro (June 4), Cagayan (June 5), Cebu (June 6),  Iloilo (June 7), Puerto Princesa (June 8) , Brunei Bay (June 9-10), Jolo (June 12), Davao (June 13), Zamboanga (June 14),  Tawi Tawi (June 29),   Balikpapan (June 30-July 1), Tawi-Tawi (July 2),  spent most of his time there until he left for Okinawa on August 29.  (Photo Paul C.
