Force. This aircraft, Jolly Rogers "229" has Form 1-A on the
starboard side, and PEGGY LOU on the port side. It was piloted
by Robert W. Groves. This aircraft broke the world's record for
combat missions flown by any Consolidated B-24. It was renamed HARRY
S. TRUMAN at the point that it had made 143 combat missions, with a
log of over 1400 hours.
