In the comparison
shot (Courtesy TheCameraReturns)the location can be
identified by the surviving building as the
intersection of Rizal Ave. and Mayhaligue, just
three blocks away from Azcarraga (present day C.M.
Recto Ave.) The tank's objective may well have been
Old Bilibid Prison, where U.S. POW's were being
kept.
